Meditate with Ram | Breath meditations
Introducing the Body Scan
Welcome. Thank you for being here, and thank you for being. I’m Ram, and you are warmly invited to meditate with me. In our last session, we deepened into breath. Today, we turn inward, into the body, into quiet wisdom, and the deliciousness of being embodied.
Settling into Presence
We begin by gently arriving in posture. Not rigid, not collapsed, just dignified. Let the spine rise like a mountain, rooted in the earth, reaching toward the sky. Relax the shoulders, soften the gaze, and let the breath guide you into presence.
Guided Body Scan
- Bring awareness to the crown of the head just noticing
- Let tension melt from the forehead, temples, and jaw
- Guide attention down the neck and shoulders with kindness
- Feel sensation in the arms, hands, and each finger
- Notice breath in the chest and belly: soft, spacious, alive
- Scan the back, hips, and pelvis; breathing into these spaces
- Move gently through the legs, ankles, and feet: each toe, each point of contact with the earth
Resting in Wholeness
After scanning the body, we rest in the fullness of being. Held in breath, held in light. Let yourself be here, just as you are.
Dedication of Energy
As the session closes, you’re invited to dedicate your energy with a quiet wish:
“Today, may I listen to my body with kindness.”
Closing Reflections
Let your body awaken slowly. Stretch, shift, and open your eyes gently when you're ready. Thank you for joining me in this practice.

It's not mindfulness, but bodyfulness
Today we breathe life into the body. This practice is about inhabiting your body fully, bringing awareness gently to each part of yourself.
Posture & Presence
Let the body find its natural shape: alive and upright, not stiff or slumped. Let the spine rise like a flame, steady and luminous. Relax the shoulders, rest the hands, soften the gaze, and become aware of the breath.
Breathing Life into the Body
- Breathe into the heart: feel the pulse of aliveness.
- Let breath expand the chest and soften the exhale.
- Breathe into the belly: soft, spacious, welcoming.
- Send breath into the shoulders, melting tension and bringing ease.
- Let breath flow down the arms, into wrists, palms, and fingers.
- Breathe into the face: soften the brow, brighten the eyes, loosen the tongue.
- Feel breath travel along the spine, hips, legs, and feet: grounded and held by the earth.
Resting in Bodyfulness
Now rest in the whole body: breathing into wholeness, into being. Let the body be lit from within, breath as light, presence as warmth.
Dedication of Energy
Notice the quiet joy of being alive. Offer a gentle wish:
“Today, may I breathe life into every moment.”
Closing Words
Let the body awaken slowly: stretching, shifting, smiling. When you’re ready, open your eyes softly and let the world meet you anew.
